Foster Care Changed Our Lives, but CTA Made it Feel Like Home.
Rich and Andrea Leister had fostered before, but finding CTA changed everything. The support, the thoughtful placements, and the sense of community made all the difference — not just for the children they welcomed, but for their own family too.
Today, their grown children work in special needs and autism support, inspired by the love they saw firsthand.

From "Aunt Kel" to Forever Mom
Some moments just change everything. For Miquelle, a dedicated CTA team member, that moment happened unexpectedly at work. "I walked into work and met them," she shares, speaking of Lincoln and Stetson.
"And from the very first moment I met them, they were my kids. I just knew they were supposed to be mine."
That heartfelt conviction really blossomed, even when their adoption wasn't yet the plan. It became a journey of trusting her gut, figuring things out along the way, and building a truly special home.
From helping them with daily ABA therapy to working through school challenges and creating a sense of emotional security, Miquelle is all-in for her sons. "I wouldn't change it for the world," she says.
